Reflexology
A massage technique involving the application of pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that purportedly reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work affects a physical change to the body. With Linda Worcester, RMP.

Pre-Natal
A gentle massage that focuses on areas of discomfort associated with pregnancy, soothing and relaxing, is our aim for the mother-to-be. (2nd and 3rd trimester only)

Myofascial Release
MFR is a massage therapy that focuses on the fascia, a web of connective tissue that supports and surrounds muscles, nerves, and blood vessels throughout the body. This technique is designed to alleviate restrictions in the fascia that can lead to pain, discomfort, and limited mobility.

During a myofascial release session, a therapist applies gentle, sustained pressure to specific areas of the body to release tightness and restore normal function. The therapy targets trigger points—localized areas of muscle tightness that can refer pain to other areas. By applying pressure and stretching the fascia, the therapist aims to improve blood flow, reduce pain, and enhance overall mobility.

MFR can be used to treat pain and increase mobility in patients with a wide range of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, and fibromyalgia, but it has a relaxing effect as well. No lotions or gels are necessary, unless we are combining myofascial release with light massage afterward.

Bowen Therapy
Bowen balances the body to allow it to heal itself. The work consists of a series of precise moves on specific points of the body. These moves are light and can be done through clothing. There are frequent and important pauses between each series of moves, giving the body time to benefit from each. The technique uses positive moves that initiate a positive energy flow and negative moves that isolate this energy to a specific area. To do this, therapists must develop a keen sense of tension to correctly assess the existence of these subtle imbalances.

Bowen is a dynamic system of muscle and connective tissue therapy that is revolutionizing health care worldwide. For more than 40 years, it has been used successfully to treat thousands of people suffering from a variety of illnesses. Developed by the late Tom Bowen in Australia, it is a unique system that has amazed therapists of all disciplines. The gentle moves on soft tissue stimulate energy flow, empowering the body's own resources to heal itself. Bowen is safe to use on anyone and produces lasting relief from pain and discomfort.
