Q: What are your hours?
A: We are open six days a week. Monday – Friday we are open from 8:15am – 7:00 pm and on Saturdays we are open from 8:30 am – 3:00pm (closing sometimes varies). We are open Sundays for a yoga class but are closed for services.

Q: Do you sell gift certificates?
A: Yes! Gift certificates are available for a specific service or general price in case you are not sure what the recipient would like to spend it on. We do not sell gift certificates online. You can visit the front desk at our Retreat in West Annapolis or call us at 443-433-0462 to order a gift certificate by phone.

Q: Do you give donations/coupons?
A: Ridgely Retreat is often giving out donations and coupons for our services; you just have to know where to look! We are frequently advertised in the Capital’s ‘Deal of the Day’ for complimentary services, and we also stay connected to the Annapolis community by giving gift donations to events at Maryland Hall, The Arthritis Walk, the Annapolis SPCA and more.

Q: Do I have to pre-register for a class?
A: No! Pre-registration is often not required for our monthly scheduled classes. Our classes are scheduled so anyone can drop in at anytime during the month and not feel like they have missed out. Pre-registration is only requested for special classes and workshops.

Q: How early do I have to come for a class?
A: All we request is that you come on time. We do not turn students away from our scheduled classes due to lack of room. The only complication newcomers find is lack of parking for some of our busiest classes. If you are trying out one of our classes for the first time we recommend that you come about ten minutes early to ensure you have parking and you will have time to ask the front desk any questions about the Retreat and yoga memberships.

Q: How much does it cost to take a class?
A: You can drop in to any of our scheduled classes for $20. If there is a difference in pricing it will be written on our monthly schedule. You can find out more about our memberships by visiting our membership page.

Q: Do you have any specials for new yoga students?
A: We do! Drop in your first class for $20 and if you enjoy the class and would like to become a member, come back to the front desk and we will contribute your $20 drop in fee to any new membership! That way you do not have to purchase a drop in class in addition to your membership.

Q: Do I need to bring my own equipment / mat?
A: If you have your own equipment you are welcome to bring it to class. The Treehouse Studio is also fully equipped with everything you need for all of our classes.

Q: How early do I need to arrive for my first massage/facial/acupuncture appointment?
A: We recommend that you arrive ten minutes early for your first appointment. Acupuncture, chiropractic, and fraxel appointments have a significant amount of paperwork to fill out for the first session. There is only a small form for massage and facials but we invite you to enjoy our relaxation room in order to slow down and receive maximum benefits from your treatment.

Q: Why do I have to cancel my appointment 24 hours in advance?
A: Most wellness centers, doctors, and spas have this policy to ensure that our practitioners are valued for their time. Many times there are other clients waiting for your time slot so canceling in advance gives us an opportunity to make other appointments. If you do not cancel 24 hours in advance we may charge a cancelation fee.

Q: Do you have parking?
A: Ridgely Retreat has off-street parking here in West Annapolis. If you feel that you require the use of our parking lot we suggest you arrive early to your appointment or class because our lot does get a bit full during popular yoga classes.

Q: What is your inclement weather policy?
A: If Anne Arundel County Schools are closed or delayed due to inclement weather, all of our classes that begin before 9am will be cancelled. Updates on classes for the remainder of the day will be posted to our website and phone at least one hour in advance. The Retreat only closes in severe storms, with 30 inches of snow or more.
