Advanced Yoga: This class delves into deeper aspects of the poses exploring all categories backbends, forward bends, inversions, hip openers, twists and arm balances. There is less verbal instruction and more doing in this class. Having confidence in the standing poses, downward dog, catturanga and cobra are suggested prerequisites. Not suitable for persons working with injuries or serious health issues.
Bardo Dance: Bardo Dance: a conscious dance, sometimes energetic, sometimes poignant, that brings an awareness of the chakra system to light while gently connecting to places of love and gratitude. It is danced with a spirit of fun and lightness, not taking itself too seriously.
Beginning Yoga: An introductory class that will help you to increase your flexibility, improve your balance, develop better breathing patterns, reduce stress and fatigue, improve your posture, strengthen your nervous system, and increase your resistance to disease. Work at your own pace and ability.
BLiS Moves™: A perfect compliment to mat modalities. This class draws from a variety of
somatic movements and ethnic dance. Classes include mind centering, a rhythmic warm-up, movement balanced
between yin and yang, free form, and structure. All levels of movers welcome. Body Language is Somatic.
Candlelight Yoga: Very gentle, restorative yoga class using props to restore, relax, and relieve stress. Move from the work week into the week's end calmly and with ease. Enjoy the beauty of entering in daylight and leaving in the afterglow of sunset and candlelight.
DeClutter Support Group: A group environment for those interested in decluttering their lives.
Lead by a professional organizer, tips, information, and solutions will be discussed to help people downsize and
simplify. Come join in the non-judgemental, inspiring company of others and change your life!
Gentle Yoga: An introduction to the various ways of approaching movement while mindfully understanding one’s limitations and progressions. Primary focus is on breathing into and through the body while understanding and accepting the benefits of yoga asana. Open to all levels.
Happy Hour Yoga: a yoga for all levels during the time of day known as happy hour. Treat yourself to something better!
Inspirede Yoga Flow: A flowing style of yoga designed to inspire and rejuvenate! Taught in a uniquely interdisciplinary approach to Yoga, this all-inclusive course honors each student's individual needs with nurturing hands on instruction and uplifting music. Fundamental postures are explored in linking the breath with movement. Previous experience encouraged.
Intermediate Yoga: A fun, invigorating class beginning with slow movement focused on breath and the opening of joints and moving into more powerful, flowing patterns to increase circulation. Completion of Beginning Yoga is recommended.
Kundalini Yoga: Concentrates on psychic centers or chakras in the body in order to generate a spiritual power, which is known as Kundalini energy. Kundalini is the potential form of prana or life force, lying dormant in our bodies.
Multi Level Yoga: A flowing yoga class designed for a variety of beginning to advanced students. Come enjoy...we'll be waiting!
NIA Technique: NIA is a scientifically based fitness and healing system, designed to follow the body's natural movements and incorporate aspects of martial arts, the art of dance, and the healing arts. Explore the joy of movement your body's way. All levels welcome.
Pilates Mat Class: Pilates strenghens the body from the inside out, correcting alignment and posture creating a longer, leaner appearance.
Prenatal Yoga: A supportive class that builds strength, stability, flexibility, and a sense of physical and mental well being through yoga postures, breath awareness, and relaxation. Prenatal yoga also helps to alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy.
Reflective Yoga: A spiritual message opens this gentle stretching class. Students are encouraged to practice staying in the body through breathing and intention, thereby restoring the body, mind, and Spirit.
Sunrise Yoga: Follow early risers for this all levels class that will stretch and strengthen the entire body. Students will explore ASANA & Pranayana to increase flexibility, improve balance and enhance mental focus. This class will leave you with sustainable energy to carry you through your day.
Svaroopa Yoga: A branch of Hatha Yoga that focuses on releasing pent-up energy that is trapped in the spine. The class is comprised of gentle poses that invoke a calming and meditative state which relaxes your core and allows your whole body to become more receptive to healing.
Tai Chi (Chen): The original form of Tai Chi, Chen style is known for its coiling, varied tempo and explosive power, and practicality. Focus is on silk reeling exercises, 18-movement form, introduction to standing meditation, and two person drills.
Tai Chi (Yang):Yang - style tai chi is one of the most popular and famous styles of tai chi. Known for its slow, circular movements coordinated with breath, tai chi is a moving meditation as well as an excercise.
Vinyasa Yoga: An invigorating and deeply cleansing Hatha Yoga class taught in the flowing style of vinyasa, with each posture gently and easily moving into the next to create a continuous and steady practice. Vinyasa allows you to feel physically connected to your core, with your mind and breath as one.
Yin Yoga: An inwardly drawn practice that focuses on long-held floor poses combined with breath work and meditation, yin yoga goes beneath the superficial muscles to target the joints and dense connective tissues of the body-often in the hips, pelvis, and low back- which are difficult to open. Poses held 5-10 minutes; all levels
Yin Yang Yoga: Provides the benefits of Yin and Yang styles of yoga. The yin style - length of breath, stillness and holding poses for longer lengths of time to - open connective tissues & provide moisture to the joints. This combined with a more active, dynamic yang style of vinyasa flow will help strengthen and invigorate the body and mind.
Yogalates: Yogalates combines the best of yoga for flexibility and pilates for strength. Yoga Nidra rounds out the class with a guided meditation that offers relaxation, ultimately taking you deep into the state where you are completely united with your inner being.
Zumba Gold: Specifically tailored for the Baby Boomer! What stays the same are all the elements the Zumba Fitness is known for: the zesty Latin music, like salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton; the exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves; and the invigorating, party-like atmosphere.
